Carpet fitter Jamie Richardson has absolutely no regrets about his tattoo declaring England the World Cup champions.
The UK thought football was finally coming home during the World Cup this year as England made it through to the semi-finals.
Jamie thought so too, and preemptively got a tattoo to mark the occasion of England winning the World Cup
Inked on his stomach is an image of the World Cup trophy and the words ‘England 2018 World Cup Winners’.
Sadly the dream ended when England were knocked out of the tournament following a 2-1 loss to Croatia – but Jamie’s keeping his tattoo declaring: ‘I’m proud to be English’.
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
Revealing his inking on Thursday’s This Morning, Jamie said: ‘I did it. I’m English I’m proud, I had the best two weeks and we were 20 minutes away from the World Cup final.’
That’s definitely the best attitude.
Jamie was on the show to debate whether it’s appropriate for men to go shirtless in the current heatwave.

Jamie said: ‘I do it whenever I want. I’m in a trade. I think a lot of it is to do with social divide. It’s maybe a class divide even now.
‘I’ve been grafting all day, I work hard, I pay my taxes, I’m English and I’m proud to be English.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV
