Fans are excited for Vijay Deverakonda’s return in Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The excitement grew when the teaser dropped in February, featuring voiceovers by Jr NTR, Suriya, and Ranbir Kapoor for the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions. Vijay recently shared how he got these three stars to record their voices. In an interview with NEWS9 Live, Vijay talked about asking Jr NTR for the voiceover.
“When we cut the teaser, we knew we wanted Jr NTR’s voice in it. I went and asked him, and he told me to do it that very evening. I told him the director wasn’t in Chennai and I would want him to do it when the director is in the city, but he told me, ‘You come, we both will do it.’ He asked me to come at 6 PM but I thought I will go late so that he is done by the time I reach."

He went on to add, “When I reached the studio, around an hour late, he was just warming-up. He made me sit in the dubbing room and he was so excited. He kept asking for one more take and I had to tell him, ‘Anna it is enough.’ I had only met him once socially before this and this was the first time I had asked him to do something for me and he did it. I feel so special and loved."
Vijay also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor agreed to lend his voice to the teaser before Vijay even asked. He credited Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Arjun Reddy who worked with Ranbir on Animal, for connecting them. Vijay said, “I just texted RK and he knew what I was going to ask even before I asked him. I had told Sandeep that I wanted RK’s voice in the film’s Hindi teaser and he had informed RK about it. Even before I asked RK, he said, ‘Of course I am doing your teaser man.’ I was like, ‘I didn’t even ask yet. Let me tell you what is it.’ Even before I asked him he said yes."
