Miley Cyrus is drawing the curtains in 2024, reflecting on her experiences this year. Recently, the 32-year-old American actor-singer took to her Instagram to share a rare, heartfelt note about her professional achievements and excitement about her new beginnings in the next year. Along with the note, Miley also posted a picture of herself in a black leather dress, leaning on a chair.
In the beginning, Miley wished her fans, “HAPPY HOLIDAYS & NEW YEAR!" Then she looked back at 2024, saying, “It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again." Miley further reflected on the transient nature of life, sharing, “This is one of my favourite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me."

The 32-year-old highlighted that the process of “letting go" can be extremely heartbreaking at times, but it can also be liberating. She added, “In everything I do, I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I’ve got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew. At times, it can be a heartbreaking process but I’ve always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful." As she signed off her year-end note to her fans, Miley said, “Thank you to everyone who has been a part of making this year so special."

Many of her fans found Miley’s note extremely thoughtful. On the other hand, others were excited as they thought the singer was hinting at a new album. One of her fans said, “OMG, THE TITLE OF THE ALBUM," whereas another wrote, “We love being on every journey with you. thx for always being YOU. We can’t wait to see what 2025 holds!" A third fan of Miley penned, “Something beautiful is coming."
2024 was remarkable for the 32-year-old actor-singer. Firstly, in February, Miley received her first-ever Grammys, and not just one but two for her hit song Flowers. She took the golden gramophones home for Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year. In August, she became the youngest person to receive the Disney Legend Award for Hannah Montana.
Meanwhile, she also received nominations at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards for her song Beautiful That Way, which was featured in the Gia Coppola-directed film The Last Showgirl. She has been nominated for the Best Original Song—Motion Picture award at the Golden Globes and in the Best Song category at the Critics Choice Awards.
