Needs offline mode
This is by far the cleanest ui of any dictionary app I’ve used, the only thing it’s missing for me and why I have two dictionary apps on my phone is that there is no offline mode; I understand that it’s not practical to basically store the whole of Wikipedia and all the other data it pulls, but Oxford dictionary definitions should be available offline, many other apps succeed in this, and that’s the only reason I haven’t given it a 5 star rating.
using for a while, seeing if there’s any noticeable gains
using for a while, seeing what the kids, seeing what they described the word accounted for, if they could spell it, and use it in a constructive phase. For what’s is worth, all showed improvement in all areas and we have started looking into other apps which (may) have the potential (as well not taking teachers time with the children, so far, I find it hard to believe an app can take the time to get together and have a 1-1 with your children, where many, seemingly, different conversations can take place in a safe/protected environment), which can lead teachers/parents possibly knowing when they may be able to offer advice and help to the child.
