Did BTS Jungkook Attend Aespa’s Seoul Concert? Army Thinks So

Jungkook, the lead vocalist of the South Korean boyband BTS, has taken the internet by storm. According to reports, the singer attended girl group aespa’s SYNK: PARALLEL LINE ENCORE concert in Seoul. On Sunday (March 16), pictures and videos of a person resembling Jungkook at the KSPO Dome surfaced on X (formerly Twitter). Soon, speculations were rife that Jungkook had taken a military leave from his mandatory 18-month tenure to enjoy the musical extravaganza. While Jungkook has not yet confirmed his attendance, the BTS Army (BTS’ dedicated fanbase) have come up with their interpretations of why Jungkook was present at the concert.

In one of the videos, the person believed to be Jungkook was seen sitting with the crowd at the concert venue. He donned a black outfit and covered his face with a black mask. A furry brown cap sealed the look. The individual grooved to the songs, swaying his head in sync. “Jungkook has attended Aespa’s concert in Seoul! His boba eyes peeking," read the side note.

Here’s another series of videos featuring what appears to be Jungkook. The note accompanying the post claimed that the BTS member’s manager was also present with him.

Guessing the reason behind Jungkook’s attendance at aespa’s music tour, a fan noted that Jungkook showed his support to the girl group after they attended the Golden Listening party. This special event was organised by Jungkook to celebrate the release of his solo album GOLDEN.

Another commented, “One thing about Jungkook, he will always be girls’ music biggest music enthusiast and concert attendee."

A fan pointed out that just like Jungkook, BTS member V also went to singer IU’s concert. “Jungkook at AESPA’s concert and Taehyung (V) at IU concert I am glad to see Jungkook and Taehyung having a happy time and living his life the way he wants."

Speaking of Jungkook, the 27-year-old got enlisted in the mandatory military duties in December 2023. He is expected to get discharged in June.

Workwise, Jungkook unveiled his solo debut album Golden in 2023. During his military tenure, Jungkook appeared in the travel reality show Are You Sure with Jimin. His documentary, I Am Still, premiered theatrically in September last year.
